Description
HCBS Service Coordinator (with HHA EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE)
As a Service Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director ofPrograms to provide supervision of direct care staff, provide training, and oversee the services and staffing of all Individuals on your case
load. You will also be responsible to assure that requirements and regulations are met in compliance with applicable state regulations as well as Casmir policies and procedures. Work on computer software programs such as HHA exchange.
– Assists with the planning, development and implementation of person-centered plans.
– Manages staffing by interviewing, hiring, evaluating, supervising, and helping to develop the most qualified individuals to work as direct support professionals.
– Able to proficiently navigate HHA exchange software system: Creating schedules, approving time worked, Overseeing service notes, Payroll
– Assist the Director to ensure that current state licensing and certification rules and regulations, accreditation requirements and agency policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications
– A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disability is required.
– An Associate’s Degree or 60 credit hours and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability is also acceptable.
– One year of Supervisory/Administrative experience desirable.
– Experience as a supports coordinator is preferable.
– Must have a valid driver’s licenses well as access to private vehicle.
– Have the ability to function independently and work cooperatively as a member of a team.
